Travel RN – Med Surg (Neuroscience and Epilepsy) Location Dallas, TX Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule 7PM – 7AM Job Description The role involves providing nursing care in a fast-paced Med Surg unit specializing in Neuroscience and Epilepsy. You will be responsible for managing the care of patients with various neurological conditions including strokes and seizures.
Responsibilities Deliver patient care in accordance with established protocols and standards. Monitor patient vital signs and respond to emergencies as they arise. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Document patient progress and collaborate with team members on care plans. Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Current RN licensure in the state of Texas.
Current BLS certification required; ACLS preferred. Experience in a Med Surg unit, particularly with neurology patients, strongly preferred. Strong time management and organizational skills.
