Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) – 12 Hour Nights Job Description We are seeking an experienced Medical/Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) to join our acute care team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical-surgical nursing and the ability to provide quality care to a diverse patient population. This position requires EPIC experience and a commitment to patient-centered care.
Responsibilities Provide direct patient care, including assessment, planning, and implementation of nursing care plans. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to established protocols. Monitor patient progress and communicate effectively with the healthcare team regarding any changes in condition. Assist with various medical procedures and provide education to patients and families.
Participate in unit meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives. Schedule This position is for 12-hour night shifts, specifically from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, with weekends required as scheduled. The manager is open to block scheduling based on preferences. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Valid RN license BLS certification required NIHSS certification required for all RNs and LPNs ACLS and PALS certifications are recommended but not required Strong medical-surgical background is essential Why ARMStaffing?
