Holy Cross Health is seeking an experienced Nurse Supervisor - Joint & Spine to provide frontline clinical leadership for our Joint & Spine unit at Holy Cross Germantown Hospital.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a skilled Registered Nurse who is passionate about patient-centered care, team development, operational excellence, and high-quality outcomes.As the Nurse Supervisor, you will work collaboratively with the Department Director to coordinate patient care delivery, oversee daily operations, support staff performance, and ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
You will serve as a clinical resource and role model while helping to create an environment of excellence for patients, families, and colleagues.What You'll DoAs a key nursing leader, you will:Coordinate and oversee patient care operations for the Joint & Spine unitDirect and supervise professional and non-professional clinical staffManage staffing assignments, scheduling, and workflow optimizationPromote safe, effective, and efficient utilization of resourcesEnsure compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standardsAssist with onboarding, orientation, education, and professional development of staffServe as a clinical expert, mentor, and resource for the care teamFoster a culture of service excellence, collaboration, and accountabilityMinimum QualificationsRequiredCurrent Maryland Registered Nurse (RN) licenseGraduate of an accredited nursing programBachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN)American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationMinimum of three (3) years of orthopedic, spine, surgical, acute care, or related specialty nursing experienceStrong leadership, communication, and organizational skillsPreferredMaster's Degree in Nursing (MSN)Previous charge nurse, supervisor, or nursing leadership experienceExperience in Joint Replacement, Orthopedics, Spine, Surgical, or Medical-Surgical ServicesWhy Join Holy Cross Health?At Holy Cross Health, you'll be part of one of the region's most respected healthcare organizations dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality care.Benefits Available Day OneMedical, dental, and vision coverageMental health and wellness benefits403(b) retirement savings planCompensationPay Range: $439.47 - $61.20 per hourCompensation is based on experience, education, skills, and internal equity considerations.
