Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) Position Overview We are seeking a dedicated Infusion Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. This position is essential for delivering high-quality patient care within our infusion services. Work Schedule This role requires a commitment of five 8-hour shifts from 08:00 to 16:30, with orientation occurring every other Thursday for registered nurses. Key Responsibilities Manage daily caseloads of approximately 70 patients.
Maintain patient ratio experience of 1:4, ensuring optimal care. Administer external beam therapy, including IMRT (Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy) and prophylactic treatments. Utilize imaging techniques such as CBCT, kV, and mV. Adhere to safety protocols for radiation and infusion therapy. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of experience as a registered nurse (RN). Active BLS certification required.
Preferred experience in infusion centers as well as inpatient and outpatient oncology settings. Must possess a clean nursing license; no prior suspensions allowed, with probations considered on a case-by-case basis. Flu vaccine is mandatory unless an allergy is documented by an allergist or physician. Additional Information This position does not require on-call shifts, and the clinician will not be floating to other units or facilities.
