Registered Nurse – Infusion Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse to join our Outpatient Infusion Unit. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing infusion therapy. Key Responsibilities Administer chemotherapy and other infusions in a safe and effective manner. Monitor patients’ responses to treatment and adjust care plans accordingly.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care. Utilize healthcare technologies including EPIC, Omnicell, Ascom, and glucometers. Ensure proper usage of Alaris pumps and elastomeric pumps during procedures. Provide patient education and support regarding treatment plans. Perform blood product administration as needed. Qualifications Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
Certification in BLS, ACLS, and Chemotherapy is required. Minimum of one year of experience in outpatient infusion nursing. Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations. Work Environment This position requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and may involve floating to meet patient care needs. Location Position available within a 75-mile radius. Local candidates will be considered.
