Registered Nurse – Night Shift Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule 3×12 Night Shifts (18:45 – 07:15), including weekend coverage every other weekend as needed. Job Description The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive nursing care in a clinical setting, responsible for managing a range of patient needs. The nurse will utilize skills in monitoring, assessing, and implementing patient care plans, adhering to best practices and safety guidelines.
Responsibilities Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Monitor and record patient health status and vital signs. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to assess and manage patient care. Provide education to patients and their families about care plans and health maintenance. Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to legal and ethical guidelines. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Active Tennessee RN license or multistate license required.
Minimum of 1 year of experience in specialty area. Must have experience with EPIC documentation. Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS. Teaching and community hospital experience preferred.
