Travel Registered Nurse – Operating Room Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Days (7:00 AM – 5:30 PM) with call and holiday coverage. Job Description The Operating Room Nurse will demonstrate critical thinking, scientific judgment, and leadership in planning and enhancing patient care during surgical procedures. The RN will collaborate with the surgical team, including surgeons and anesthesiologists, to uphold the standards of care according to established regulations and hospital policies.
Responsibilities Ensure timely preparation and availability of surgical supplies. Communicate effectively with patients’ families regarding care. Update physician preference cards and document care accurately. Scrub and assist physicians during surgical procedures. Supervise personnel delivering patient care in the operating room. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure At least 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in the operating room setting.
