Registered Nurse (RN) – Operating Room Schedule Day shift, 5×8 hours (07:00 AM – 03:30 PM), Monday to Friday, with on-call requirements for nights, weekends, and holidays. On-call is typically 1 night a week with 2-3 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule. Job Description The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Operating Room is responsible for the immediate assessment of each patient upon admission to the OR, addressing biophysical, psychosocial, environmental, self-care, educational, discharge planning factors, and significant other/family support as appropriate.
The RN will develop and execute individualized nursing care plans that meet the identified needs of each patient in the intraoperative setting. Responsibilities Conduct ongoing assessments and reassessments of patients, identifying nursing interventions as necessary. Develop individualized nursing care plans tailored to patient needs. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide holistic patient care.
Monitor patients effectively during surgeries, ensuring patient safety and optimal outcomes. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Active RN license. BLS and ACLS certifications required. 3 years of main hospital experience preferred. Experience in patient ratio of 1:1 is required. Meditech charting system experience required. Why ARMStaffing?
