PACU Registered Nurse (RN) Schedule This is a 13-week contract position with AM shifts from 06:00 to 18:30, including 3 × 12-hour shifts per week. Job Description The PACU Registered Nurse (RN) will be responsible for the recovery of patients from general and moderate sedation anesthesia. The role offers a supportive environment with no call, weekends, or holiday shifts. The RN will manage a patient ratio of 3:1 in pre-op and 2:1 in recovery, handling 30-50 cases per day.
Responsibilities Monitor and assess patient recovery from anesthesia. Administer medications and manage IV lines as per protocol. Provide care and support to patients and families during recovery. Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 2+ years of PACU and ICU nursing experience. Current BLS and ACLS certification required.
