Neuro-Progressive RN – 7A to 7:30P Shift Schedule This position operates on a 7AM to 7:30PM shift. Job Description The Neuro-Progressive RN is responsible for providing advanced nursing care to patients in a high-acuity setting. The ideal candidate will possess neuro-progressive or ICU experience and demonstrate the ability to manage complex patient needs effectively. Responsibilities Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients on a Neuro-Progressive/Stepdown unit.
Monitor and assess patient conditions and communicate effectively with healthcare teams. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Maintain accurate and updated patient records utilizing Epic electronic health record. Participate in the training and mentoring of new staff and nursing students. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Must have prior Neuro-Progressive, Stepdown, or ICU experience.
5-bed Med-Surg rotation experience is required. Epic experience is mandatory. Completion of a Neuro-Progressive competency exam and skills checklist upon offer acceptance.
