Step-Down RN – Night Shift (3×12-Hour) Location Not specified Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Night shift: 3×12-hour shifts (19:00 – 07:30) Job Description We are seeking an experienced Step-Down RN with 2+ years of recent experience to provide comprehensive nursing care in a fast-paced medical environment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate expertise in cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and managing complex patient conditions.
Responsibilities Provide post-heart catheter care and manage patients after vascular procedures. Monitor vital signs and perform neurovascular checks frequently. Administer medications, including emergency and cardiac drips, and perform procedural sedation. Manage cardiac monitoring and dysrhythmia management with timely interventions. Assist with BiPAP/CPAP management and chest tube care. Implement infection prevention protocols and ensure compliance with isolation precautions.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum 2 years of recent Step-Down RN experience. Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications are required. Experience with Allscripts preferred.
