Surgical PCU Registered Nurse Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, 36 hours per week. Weekend and holiday rotation required. Job Description We are seeking an experienced Surgical PCU Registered Nurse to provide high-quality and compassionate patient care. This position may require floating to support other units as necessary. Candidates must demonstrate flexibility in their availability and be willing to accept calls to assist as needed.
Responsibilities Provide nursing care and support for patients in the Surgical PCU. Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in status. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans. Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols. Educate patients and their families on health management post-surgery. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 24 months of PCU experience, with recent experience within the last 12 months.
Active nursing license with no violations. Current BLS and ACLS certifications from an approved provider. Flu vaccination status must be provided. Driver’s license to verify residency.
