PCU Registered Nurse – Night Shift Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Shift: Night 3×12-Hour (19:00 – 07:00) Weekends: Required (Every other weekend) Job Description We are seeking a dedicated and experienced PCU Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in a progressive care unit. The ideal candidate will float between units as needed, ensuring versatility and flexibility in meeting patient care demands.
Responsibilities Provide nursing care to patients with diverse medical conditions including but not limited to congestive heart failure, atrial fibrillation, sepsis, and acute respiratory failure. Administer medications and perform medical procedures as per established protocols. Monitor patient vital signs and document changes in patient condition. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including IV teams, physical therapy, and respiratory services, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Manage and interpret telemetry, perform ABG assays, and administer blood products as needed. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 1 year of experience in a progressive care unit or similar environment. Current and valid RN license (Compact license preferred). Certifications: BLS and ACLS required. Experience with Epic electronic medical record system is mandatory. Why ARMStaffing?
