Registered Nurse (RN) Job Description We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our Intermediate Care Unit (IMCU). The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care with specific expertise in neuro, cardiac, trauma, and respiratory conditions. Unit Information Unit: IMCU Shift: 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM (Block scheduling is not guaranteed) Floating: Required Scrub Color: Navy Blue Common Diagnoses: Neuro, Cardiac, Trauma, Respiratory (COPD, DKA, Sepsis, MI, CV stepdown, post-operative care) Specialty Equipment: Temp pacers, chest tubes, arterial lines, BiPAP, Neptune Vapo Ventilator Management: Chronic vents requiring assistance Patient Demographics: Ages 18 and older Number of Beds: 64 beds total, including 15 designated neuro beds Qualifications Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications NIHSS certification Active NY nursing license and verification through NURSYS Minimum of 2 years of experience in IMCU or PCU Experience with electronic medical records (EMR), specifically EPIC Join our dedicated team and make a meaningful impact in patient care in a fast-paced environment.
