Registered Nurse – Pediatrics Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, 36 hours scheduled, 24 hours guaranteed. Weekends and holidays required, with float per department guidelines. Job Description The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide high-quality care to pediatric patients, ensuring compliance with all guidelines and standards set forth by the facility.
The RN will work on a variety of shifts and may float between departments as needed. Responsibilities Provide patient care to children in accordance with standard nursing protocols. Coordinate with healthcare teams for comprehensive patient management. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Monitor and document patient progress and outcomes. Educate patients and families regarding conditions and treatment plans.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 24 months of Pediatric nursing experience with recent experience in the last 12 months. Active nursing license with no hits on state license to practice. Life support certifications must be from AHA, ARC, or ASHI (BLS and PALS required). Driver’s license for residency verification. Travel experience is highly preferred. Completion of a pediatric skills checklist in the last 12 months is required.
