Pediatric Registered Nurse Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM, 36 hours scheduled, with a minimum of 24 hours guaranteed. Weekends and holidays required, with float assignments as per department guidelines. Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric Registered Nurse to provide specialized care for children in a qualified facility. The nurse will be responsible for delivering compassionate, evidence-based pediatric nursing care and ensuring a positive experience for patients and their families.
Responsibilities Provide direct patient care to pediatric patients in accordance with established standards and guidelines. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare providers. Monitor and document patient progress and responses to treatment plans. Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care. Participate in patient and family education regarding health management and promotion.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 24 months pediatric nursing experience with recent practice in the last 12 months. Active RN license with no hits on the state license to practice. Life support certifications (BLS and PALS) from AHA, ARC, or ASHI. Driver’s license to verify residency. Why ARMStaffing?
