Pediatric CVICU Registered Nurse Location Dallas, Texas Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule 7A – 7P, with Tuesday start dates and rotating weekends. Job Description We are seeking a dedicated Pediatric CVICU Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Pediatric CICU/CVICU nursing and the ability to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities Provide comprehensive care to critically ill pediatric patients in the CVICU. Manage post-operative care for congenital heart disease patients. Perform procedures such as central line and arterial line placements, conscious sedation, and intubation/extubation. Monitor and adjust ventilator settings for patients as necessary. Participate in code situations and ECMO cannulation and decannulation.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 1 year of Pediatric CICU/CVICU experience as a staff nurse. 3-4 contracts in a dedicated pediatric CICU. 2 years minimum PICU experience as a staff nurse. Experience with congenital heart disease patient management and familiarity with arterial lines and central lines. Required certifications: PALS, BLS, ACLS. Why ARMStaffing?
