Contract RN – Telemetry (7S) Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, with every other weekend required. Job Description We are seeking a skilled RN for our Telemetry unit (7S). The ideal candidate will manage a patient ratio of 1:6, and potentially 1:5, providing direct care to patients in a fast-paced environment. The assignments require proficiency in telemetry and Med/Surg experience.
Responsibilities Monitor and assess patient conditions, utilizing telemetry equipment. Administer medications and treatments as per physician orders. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care. Document patient care and outcomes in the EMR system (MediTech). Participate in unit meetings and contribute to ongoing education and professional development. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Active RN License in the state.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required. Med/Surg experience is a must; Telemetry experience is preferred. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and TNCC certifications are a plus.
