Telemetry Registered Nurse Location Saratoga, NY Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Night shift: 3×12-Hour (19:00 – 07:30) Job Description We are seeking an experienced Telemetry Registered Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of cardiac telemetry, rhythm interpretation, and management of IV cardiac medications. Responsibilities Monitor patients’ heart rhythms and vital signs, identifying any critical changes.
Administer IV medications and manage continuous infusions. Document patient care using the Epic charting system. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care. Participate in the education and support of patients and their families regarding stroke care and rehabilitation. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Current New York State RN License. Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, including at least 1 year of telemetry or stepdown experience.
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications. Proven ability to read and interpret cardiac rhythms and manage acute care patients. Experience with critical drips and stroke management preferred.
