Telemetry Registered Nurse – Night Shift Location Saratoga, NY Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Night shift, 3×12-hour (19:00 – 07:30) Job Description The Telemetry Registered Nurse will provide high-quality care for patients in the telemetry unit. Responsibilities include monitoring cardiac rhythms, managing IV cardiac medications, and providing intervention for patients experiencing critical conditions.
Responsibilities Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms in a telemetry setting. Administer medications, including critical drips and IV infusions. Provide effective care and management for stroke patients. Participate in Rapid Response and Code teams as needed. Conduct patient assessments and report significant changes in patient conditions. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Active NY RN License in hand.
Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with at least 1 year in telemetry or stepdown. BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications (can obtain prior to starting). Experience with Epic charting system.
