Registered Nurse – Neuro Telemetry (Night Shift) Location Not specified Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Night 3×12-Hour (19:00 – 07:00); every other weekend required. Job Description We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with experience in the Neuro Telemetry unit to provide high-quality patient care. The position involves caring for patients with a variety of neurology diagnoses, utilizing the NIH scale for assessments and care management.
Responsibilities Provide patient care in a designated stroke unit, capable of performing thrombectomies. Utilize Epic charting system for documentation and care coordination. Monitor telemetry and manage dysrhythmias as well as other neuro-related care. Assist in pre/post neurosurgery care and procedural sedation monitoring. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including physical therapy, respiratory services, and rapid response teams.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure Minimum of 1 year of experience in a Neurology/Telemetry unit preferred. Current RN license (Compact license required for submission). Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS. Experience with BiPAP/CPAP management and understanding of chest tube management. Why ARMStaffing? At ARMStaffing, we take care of our employees!
