Tele RN – Neuro Specialist (Night Shift) Location Not specified Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule Night shift: 3×12-Hour shifts (19:00 – 07:00). Every other weekend is required. Job Description Seeking an experienced Tele RN specializing in neurology to provide exceptional patient care in a telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will be proficient in neurological patient management and capable of floating between units as needed.
This position requires proficiency in the NIH stroke scale and experience with diverse neurological diagnoses. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care for neurology patients. Conduct assessments and monitor patients in a telemetry unit. Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient care. Maintain accurate patient records using the Epic charting system.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure 1 year of telemetry nursing experience required. Neurology patient care experience is preferred. Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS.
