The successful candidates will assist with road construction and pavement work, including operating and supporting road-rolling activities to compact soil, gravel, asphalt, and other road materials according to project specifications and safety standards. ROAD ROLLING WORK (TITP) Qualifications: Male, 20–30 years old. At least High School Graduate. Minimum of one (1) year relevant work experience.
Physically and emotionally healthy and capable of performing road construction work. Willing to perform physically demanding tasks involving standing, walking, lifting, and working outdoors. Basic knowledge of road construction, earthwork, paving, compaction, or heavy equipment is an advantage. Able to follow instructions, measurements, work schedules, and safety procedures. Willing to learn proper road-rolling techniques and Japanese construction practices.
Responsible, hardworking, disciplined, and safety-conscious. Able to work effectively as part of a construction team. Willing to undergo four (4) months of Japanese language training, free of charge. Responsibilities: Assist with road construction, pavement preparation, and road rolling activities. Operate road rollers and compaction equipment under proper supervision and training. Compact soil, gravel, asphalt, and other road construction materials to achieve the required density and smoothness.
Inspect work areas and prepare surfaces before rolling and compaction. Follow specified rolling patterns, passes, and procedures according to work instructions. Assist in leveling and preparing road surfaces before and during compaction. Check the condition and operation of road rollers and related equipment before use. Perform basic cleaning and routine maintenance of road-rolling equipment. Report equipment problems, unusual conditions, or safety hazards to supervisors.
Assist with loading, unloading, and handling construction materials and equipment. Work with other construction workers and equipment operators to maintain smooth project operations. Follow construction drawings, site instructions, measurements, and work schedules. Monitor the quality and appearance of compacted surfaces and report defects when observed. Maintain safe distances from other workers, vehicles, and heavy construction equipment.
Follow all road construction site safety rules and Japanese workplace procedures. Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times. Maintain cleanliness and orderliness around the work area and equipment. Work safely in outdoor environments and under varying weather conditions. Complete assigned tasks efficiently and follow instructions from supervisors. Perform other road construction, rolling, and site-related duties as assigned.
