We are looking for a salaried GP who will be able to work 4 sessions over Thursday and Friday, with on call on Thursday. You will be working alongside our current team of two partners in our well established, enthusiastic and high achieving practice. We are situated on Baglan Moors in Port Talbot in the purpose-built Port Talbot Resource Centre, which is conveniently located just off the M4 motorway at Baglan., 6500 patients Paper light practice using EMIS Triage and face to face patients All general GP duties EPS - electronic prescribing Supportive team with cluster paramedic, OT, Health Board pharmacist and social prescriber, Triage and face to face appointments On call Equitable share with other Doctors Covering partners Equitable share of workload when a member of the Clinical Team is away Share of cover for doctors when they are on leave On call duties when requested by the partnership Prescribing - EPS Checking and signing repeat prescriptions Dealing with workflow queries, blood results, prescriptions, medical reports and examinations, referral letters (NHS and private) and correspondence(Docman) by the end of their working week Taking an equitable share of the queries and workload from the wider MDT team Making professional autonomous decisions with either self-referred patients or those referred by another member of the MDT team Recording and making contemporaneous I.T.

based consultation notes to agreed standards Prescribing within locally agreed guidelines The working day runs from 08.30 18.30 Qualified GP MRCGP General Practitioner (Certificate of Completion of Training CCT) Full GMC Registration National Performers List registration Eligibility to practice in the UK independently, Experience of working in primary care Experience of working in a GP practice Experience of medicines management, Experience of working in primary care Experience of working in a GP practice Experience of medicines management Disclosure and Barring Service Check This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.

High achiever Paper light practice using EMIS Physician Associate - well experienced Salaried GP - Monday and Tuesday Excellent nursing and admin support 2 practice nurses and 1 HCSW Modern, purpose-built premises in the Resource Centre No OOH / weekend or extended hours Supportive team with cluster paramedic, OT, Health Board pharmacist and social prescriber Salary- negotiable / depending on experience
