The successful candidate will begin working in the lab as a technician to learn the business and will transfer to sales in 6 months - 2 years depending on experience.Summary of Role Laboratory Technician (6 months - 2 years): you will prepare samples and complete analysis following official methods and company/laboratory SOPs.

This position performs performance, chemical and physical testing of disposable paper and hygiene consumer products learning multiple industry methods.Job Functions:Test to applicable standards (ASTM, TAPPI, ISO, NWSP, etc.) and customer-specific protocols.Demonstrates good and safe work habits and enforces a clean working environment.Accurately complete and maintain all laboratory reports.May be required to receive, sort, log client samples into the database, and prepare sample labels.May be required to archive, return, or dispose of client samples as per the established procedure.Perform daily, weekly, and monthly Quality Assurance/Quality Control checks on equipment.Adheres to internal standards, policies and procedures.Maintain tracking spreadsheets and email correspondence May communicate with clients regarding time performance or problems encountered in the particular analysis Sales Associate is responsible for both global and domestic sales of all SGS-IPS services applicable to assigned channels.

Job Functions:Responsible for generating and closing leads and opportunities within a strategic business unit (SBU) for global and domestic accounts, in accordance to SGS CRS sales strategies and individual targets.Builds and maintains effective and professional relationships and close cooperation with key internal customers and support teams, including client services, global sales, technical and operations.Visits potential customers to prospect for new business.Develops and issues quotations, proposals, and terms and conditions as necessary.Secures appropriate legal documents for client relationship, including non-disclosure agreements, service agreements and statements of work.Develops close cooperation with client's service team to insure ease and transparency of client information and requirements.Develops sales and marketing plans with sales manager to ensure the achievement of targets.Attends industry and trade show events for lead generation and prospecting.Performs key sales administrative functions: prepares call reports, pre- and post- tradeshow reports, sales reports, maintenance of all data in Customer Platform SharePoint site, and other reports/presentations as may be required by management.Works closely with the business unit managers when responding to a request for proposal (RFP) to inform them of market conditions, pricing issues and the current competition on the program.Makes presentations to various groups within the customer's organization when needed.Maintains knowledge of the SGS Group network and services.Performs other duties as assigned.QualificationsEducation and ExperienceBachelor's degree or equivalent educational background in Analytical Sciences, Engineering, Business, or related field.Knowledge, Skills and AbilitiesLanguage Skills: English, Advanced (Required)Mathematical Skills: Intermediate level (
