We invite you to join the world of luxury hospitality at Fairmont Southampton as our new Sales Support Executive. Reporting to the Area Regional Director, Sales & Marketing, the Sales Support Executive is a Bermuda-based member of the Commercial team, providing day-to-day administrative, sales, and client support to the resort's Sales Managers and commercial leadership. This role helps drive local business development by managing sales leads, preparing proposals and presentations, coordinating client activities, maintaining accurate account information, and supporting sales initiatives across the Bermuda market., Sales Support & Administration Provide administrative and sales support to Sales Managers and the Commercial team.
Manage incoming sales inquiries, leads, follow-ups, and account activity. Prepare proposals, presentations, contracts, reports, and other sales materials. Maintain accurate account, contact, activity, and opportunity information in Opera Cloud and CRM systems. Coordinate appointments, site inspections, client visits, and sales calls. Local Market & Client Support Support Sales Managers in developing and maintaining relationships with Bermuda-based corporate accounts, businesses, associations, government organizations, and community partners.
Conduct market and account research to identify new business opportunities. Assist with client communications, account follow-up, and sales campaigns. Support local networking events, client functions, trade shows, and sales activities. Represent Fairmont Southampton professionally when interacting with clients and local partners. Commercial Coordination Work closely with Group Sales, Transient Sales, Revenue Management, Marketing, Events, and Operations to support business development and client requirements.
Assist with sales reports, account reviews, market intelligence, and other commercial projects. Help coordinate internal and external sales initiatives to ensure timely follow-up and execution. Identify opportunities to improve sales processes, communication, and administrative efficiency. Team Collaboration & Continuous Improvement Collaborate closely with Sales & Marketing team to achieve team objectives.
Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on sales initiatives, processes, and tools. Proactively suggest improvements to processes, workflows, and client engagement strategies. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM, sales management, or hotel systems, including Opera, preferred.
Education Bachelor's degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field preferred. Relevant coursework or certifications in sales, customer service, or hospitality is an advantage. Competencies, Knowledge & Skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong research, prospecting, and analytical abilities. Experience with Opera Cloud and related hotel sales, reservation, and CRM systems preferred.
