School Cleaner Ashbourne Pay: Competitive hourly rate Start Date: ASAP Contract: Part time, long-term temporary Long Term Futures are looking for a reliable and hardworking Cleaner to join a small, friendly primary school in the Ashbourne area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment. You will play an important role in ensuring classrooms, communal areas and facilities are kept to a high standard for pupils and staff.

About the Role: Working as part of the school's site team, your duties will include: * Cleaning classrooms, corridors and communal areas * Cleaning and sanitising toilets and washroom facilities * Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors * Emptying bins and disposing of waste appropriately * Wiping down desks, surfaces, doors and high-contact areas * Ensuring cleaning supplies are stocked and stored safely * Reporting any maintenance, health and safety or safeguarding concerns to the appropriate member of staff * Helping to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming school environment Ideal Candidate Profile * Previous cleaning experience would be advantageous, although not essential * Reliable, punctual and able to work independently * Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness * Friendly and professional approach * Able to follow health and safety procedures * Comfortable working within a school environment * Committed to a long-term position Previous experience working as a cleaner within a school, nursery, care setting or similar environment would be advantageous.
