You’ll be: 	 Reading schedules to determine machine changeovers and run timing 	 Ensuring inventory is available for production and starting/stopping machine operations 	 Aligning or fastening machine parts, threading or feeding film, and adjusting temperature, speed, and flow rates 	 Observing machines during operation, inspecting products, and making machine adjustments as needed 	 Recording production run quantities, performing quality control checks, and consulting with Team Leads on questionable items 	 Completing required machine changeovers, loading/unloading materials, and material handling using carts, pallet jacks, or forklifts 	 Cleaning machines between runs and operating machines that emboss and slit rolls of film 	 Using computer equipment for production sheets and QA testing, following hazardous material handling guidelines 	 Cross-training to support other teams and assisting operators as needed This job might be an outstanding fit if you: 	 Have a high school diploma or GED (required) 	 Bring experience in a manufacturing environment and/or possess strong mechanical aptitude (preferred) 	 Are able to stand, walk, lift up to 65 lbs, and complete a respiratory clearance exam (required) 	 Possess strong verbal and written communication skills, sound judgment, and basic computer proficiency 	 Are willing and able to work second shift, overtime, and 1-2 weekends per month as needed 	 Are comfortable working in a physically demanding, fast-paced environment and following a 100% non-smoking campus policy 	 Experience with 5S and forklift operation is a plus but not required 	 Are flexible and eager to learn and cross-train in other departments What happens next Once you apply, you’ll proceed to next steps if your skills and experience look like a good fit.
