Security Support Officer Location: Rolls-Royce, DerbyPay Rate: £13.12 per hourShifts: 12-hour shifts (Days, Nights, Weekends) We are seeking reliable and professional Security Support Officers to join our Rolls-Royce contract in Derby. Applicants must be fully flexible and able to work 12-hour day and night shifts, including weekends. Please do not apply if you are unable to commit to these shifts.

Key ResponsibilitiesSecurity Operations -Conduct access control, pass, and parking permit checks. -Monitor CCURE systems, CCTV, and door alarms. -Sign in visitors, contractors, and delivery drivers. -Maintain compliance with site procedures, company policies, and relevant legislation. -Complete all duties in accordance with Assignment Instructions (AI's). -Identify and recommend improvements to operational processes where appropriate.

-Ensure compliance with SIA licensing requirements and all mandatory contract training. -Follow instructions and procedures professionally and consistently. -Maintain accurate records and reports as required. Training & Development -Complete all mandatory training and competency assessments. -Participate in additional training as required. -Maintain and develop professional knowledge and skills.

-Ensure SIA licences are renewed at least 16 weeks before expiry. Security, Safety & Incident Management -Report all Health & Safety concerns and potential hazards immediately. -Remain vigilant to security threats and operational risks. -Use initiative and escalate concerns appropriately. -Maintain professional conduct when dealing with challenging situations. -Complete accurate incident reports and notebook entries.

-Conduct scheduled check calls as required. -Notify emergency services and the Communication Centre of incidents when necessary. Previous security experience. -Valid SIA Security Guarding or Door Supervision Licence. -Ability to work 12-hour day and night shifts, including weekends. -Strong communication and customer service skills. -Professional, reliable, and flexible approach to work.
