SEN Teaching Assistant – Bristol Full-Time & Long-Term Opportunities | Specialist SEN Settings | Bristol Are you an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity in Bristol? Protocol Education is working with a range of specialist SEN schools and mainstream schools across Bristol , supporting pupils with a variety of additional learning needs. We are looking for dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistants who can provide consistent, high-quality support in the classroom.

About the Role As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils with a range of needs, which may include: Autism and ADHD Communication and interaction needs Social, emotional and mental health needs Moderate learning difficulties Complex and additional needs Challenging behaviour You may provide 1:1 support, small-group intervention and general classroom assistance , helping pupils access learning and develop their confidence and independence.

Key Responsibilities Provide 1:1 and small-group support to pupils with SEN Assist pupils in accessing the curriculum and classroom activities Support communication, social skills and emotional development Implement individual support and behaviour strategies Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils Encourage independence and confidence Work closely with teachers and other support staff Maintain a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment Requirements Minimum 6 months' relevant UK experience working with children, young people or within an educational/support setting Previous SEN/SEND experience is highly desirable A patient, resilient and caring approach Strong communication and teamwork skills A genuine interest in supporting pupils with additional needs Enhanced DBS on the Update Service is desirable, but not essential Why Work with Protocol Education?
