Make a Meaningful Difference to SEN Learners TP Tutors is looking for dedicated and compassionate SEN Tutors to provide personalised one-to-one tuition to primary and secondary SEN learners across Redruth and the surrounding areas. You’ll work with students who have a range of special educational needs and additional needs, including autism, ADHD, SEMH and other SEND needs. Your support will help learners overcome barriers to education, develop confidence and make progress towards their individual goals.
Role Details Location: Redruth and surrounding areas Learners: Primary and secondary SEN students Contract: Flexible part-time and full-time opportunities Pay: £25–£30 per hour Delivery: One-to-one tuition in schools, community settings or learners’ homes What TP Tutors Offers £25–£30 per hour Flexible working hours Specialist SEND training and ongoing CPD Dedicated consultant support Opportunities to make a positive difference within the local community Rewarding work with visible learner progress Your Responsibilities You will: Deliver personalised one-to-one tuition to SEN learners Adapt lessons and teaching strategies around individual needs Support primary and/or secondary students with their education Help learners develop academic skills, confidence and independence Monitor and record progress against individual learning goals Build positive relationships with students, families, schools and professionals Create a safe, inclusive and supportive learning environment Essential Requirements Experience working with SEN/SEND children or young people Experience in mainstream and/or specialist SEN settings Previous teaching, tutoring, mentoring or education experience Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities Ability to support primary and/or secondary SEN learners Ability to travel across Redruth and surrounding areas Strong communication and interpersonal skills About You You are: Patient and understanding Adaptable and learner-focused Reliable and professional Confident adjusting your approach to individual needs Passionate about helping SEN students achieve their potential If you have the experience and commitment to support SEN learners through personalised education, we’d love to hear from you.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position.
