Job summary This role will work within the Policy, Digital & Data Directorate. The role holder will play a pivotal role enabling and leading cross-functional teams to successfully deliver digital projects and products. They will lead teams by example, fostering collaboration and removing obstacles. The role holder will coach and enable teams, identifying practices to optimise quality, improve processes, and demonstrate value delivery for their context.
Their proven ability to facilitate effective communication and empower teams will be crucial in ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of digital solutions that align with user needs and stakeholder objectives. Foster a culture of empowerment, accountability, and psychological safety within teams.
Track financials and manage commercial aspects to ensure value for money. Promote high standards of quality, user-centered design, and continuous improvement. Champion Agile and Lean ways of working, coaching teams in iterative delivery. Remove obstacles and facilitate effective communication between teams and stakeholders. Collaborate with internal and external partners to align delivery with strategic goals.
Plan team capacity and priorities, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Person specification Required experience: To be successful in this role you will need to have the following experience: Proven experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver digital products within the public sector or relevant industry.
Expert understanding of Agile and Lean methodologies and practices, gained by extensive real-world experience. Experience of working with a facilitative leadership approach in cross-functional teams. Exceptional facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Experience in risk management and budget tracking. Additional Information Working hours, office attendance and travel requirements Full time roles consist of 37 hours per week.
