Senior Digital Support Engineer | Motherwell We're recruiting on behalf of a well-established global manufacturer, based at their Motherwell site, as they look to strengthen their Digital and IT team with an experienced Senior Digital Support Engineer. The role This is a technical and business partnering role, supporting the effective delivery of Digital and IT services across the site. Reporting to the Head of Site Support and Digital Transformation, you'll lead local digital initiatives, manage business systems, coordinate projects, and ensure reliable IT service operation, while working closely with stakeholders across a much wider global group.

Key responsibilities You'll develop and mentor colleagues within the Digital and IT team; negotiate SLAs with internal and external customers and service providers, monitoring delivery against agreed targets; build strong business partnerships and drive continuous improvement across the site and wider organisation; lead IT planning activities including projects, service development, deployment and resourcing; manage business systems through their full lifecycle, from development through to retirement; ensure compliance with corporate digital and cyber security standards; and represent the Digital function at regional and global level, including preparing quarterly KPI reporting.

What we're looking for Educated to degree level in Computer Science or a related field Previous experience of end-to-end project delivery Experience managing multiple IT disciplines — systems deployment, technical support, systems architecture Strong understanding of business systems, digital operations and enterprise applications Proven experience negotiating with and managing third-party suppliers and outsourced service providers Well-developed communication skills, able to explain complex IT concepts to non-technical stakeholders Strong stakeholder management, planning and business acumen Desirable Experience leading through organisational change Background working across diverse, multi-site teams Practical knowledge of standard IT industry best practices and processes Some travel is required (around 5%).
