The Director / Senior Director [TBD], Strategic Alliances serves as the Enterprise Lead for the argenx partnership with IQVIA—owning the enterprise relationship architecture, strategic direction, governance model, and value creation agenda across clinical development and operations, digital and data/technology, GPS / pharmacovigilance, quality, and select commercial interactions, in close partnership with the Breakthrough Partner (BP) Lead.
This role carries primary strategic accountability for the global relationship and works with senior leaders across argenx and IQVIA to align intent, simplify complexity, strengthen executive engagement, and connect teams—so argenx engages IQVIA as one coherent enterprise partnership, not a fragmented, project-by-project set of interactions. The Director / Senior Director intentionally designs integration, governance, innovation, quality, and value creation into the full enterprise portfolio, enabling faster decisions, more consistent execution, and measurable outcomes for patients—while consistently modeling the argenx way of partnering.
Key Responsibilities Enterprise Partnership Leadership Serve as the senior enterprise-level lead for the global IQVIA partnership, ensuring argenx shows up with one aligned enterprise voice across clinical, digital, GPS, quality, and commercial interactions Represent argenx as a strategic, engaged, and outcome-oriented enterprise partner—protecting long-term value by reducing fragmentation, eliminating misaligned asks, and reinforcing partnering behaviors grounded in empowerment, transparency, shared accountability, and the argenx way of partnering Partner closely with the Breakthrough Partner (BP) Lead as a key senior stakeholder, ensuring alliance strategy, governance, priorities, and partner engagement are aligned with BP objectives and enterprise need Enterprise Alignment and Connection Act as a senior enterprise connector with end-to-end visibility across the IQVIA enterprise portfolio, aligning argenx leaders, teams, and communities with partner capabilities in an intentional and coordinated manner Clarify enterprise intent and priorities for IQVIA and across argenx, proactively identifying and resolving duplication, conflicting priorities, or misalignment across functions, regions, and operating models Enable effective, faster decision-making by establishing decision rights, escalation routes, leadership cadence, and executive-level alignment on desired outcomes Establish and maintain strong working rhythms with the BP Lead to ensure visibility across IQVIA activities, timely escalation of cross-functional issues, and alignment on decisions that affect the broader partnership model Value Creation, Innovation, and Growth Lead the development and evolution of the multi-year alliance strategy and enterprise value narrative for IQVIA, ensuring the partnership is anchored in clear priorities, shared outcomes, and measurable business impact Develop a strong understanding of IQVIA’s current capabilities across data, technology, scientific/clinical, quality, and operational delivery, translating contractual arrangements into scalable operating models that enable teams rather than slow them down Collaborate with IQVIA and the BP Lead to identify and prioritize future-facing innovation opportunities, emerging capabilities, and new partnership approaches that advance argenx’s business priorities and evolve the enterprise partnership model beyond today’s work Guide internal teams in moving from transactional engagement toward co-creation and differentiated enterprise value, converting scale and spend into measurable acceleration, quality, and outcomes Required Capabilities and Experience Extensive senior-level experience leading and evolving complex, enterprise-critical partnerships spanning multiple functions, such as clinical development/operations, data/technology, quality, and commercial, in a global, highly regulated environment Strong enterprise leadersh
