· Carry out routine maintenance, inspections, and repairs to hotel plant, equipment, and building systems. · Respond promptly to maintenance requests and guest-related engineering issues, ensuring minimal disruption to operations. · Monitor and maintain the safe and efficient operation of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and HVAC systems. · Assist in identifying and resolving faults, ensuring all equipment remains compliant with health and safety standards.
· Support emergency procedures, including fire alarm responses and lift entrapment situations in line with hotel procedures. · Complete planned preventative maintenance tasks to help maintain the hotel's high standards and reduce equipment downtime. · Work closely with other hotel departments to ensure a seamless guest experience and support operational needs. · Maintain accurate maintenance records and report any significant issues or repair requirements to the Engineering management team.
We are looking for a proactive and reliable individual with previous engineering, maintenance, or building services experience, ideally gained within a hotel, hospitality, or similar customer-focused environment. You will have a strong understanding of health and safety practices, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to respond calmly and efficiently in a fast-paced setting. A hands-on approach, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional guest experiences are essential.
