Volt is immediately hiring for a Shipper/Receiver I at Mechanicsburg, PA 17055As a Shipper/Receiver I, you will: The Shipper / Receiver performs all functions associated with material movement through the Distribution Center, including material handling, paperwork, and recordkeeping. Operates powered order pickers, forklifts, turret trucks, electric/manual pallet jacks, stretch wrapping machine, laser scanners, etc.

Follows all DC procedures and demonstrates an understanding of DC standards and goals to achieve total Customer Satisfaction. Performs packing function by reviewing SAP packing functions or ship sets to obtain packaging instructions. Loads and unloads trucks and interfaces with common carriers. Signs bill of ladings for incoming shipments and process IBL, packing lists for receipts from vendors using SAP Checks incoming product against documentation to verify accuracy, sorts of products and prepares it for putaway.

Receive product into SAP using barcode scanners or computers. Put product away in available space by proper area/zone using order pickers, turret trucks, pallet jacks, and barcode scanners. This is Full-Time, Contract Opportunity.The Ideal Candidate will have: High School diploma or GED required. Previous experience with picking with a Stock Picker/Cherry Picker is required. Some standup forklift operation and Basic computer skills.

Schedule: 1st Shift: 6:00 AM -2:30 PM 2nd Shift: 2:00 pm-10:30 pmLocation: Mechanicsburg, PA 17055Payrate Range in Between - $17.00 - $19.80/hour.*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Qualified candidates should APPLY NOW for immediate consideration!
