PRN (shifts vary; as needed) APPLICATION MUST BE FILLED OUT ENTIRELY TO BE CONSIDERED FOR INTERVIEW PROCESS Scope of Responsibility Single or Multi-Modality Radiologist Techs are r esponsible for producing quality images by utilizing proper positioning skills, using the ALARA principle for radiation safety, ensuring both patient safety and comfort during examinations. Responsible to the Executive Director of Imaging Services and Imaging Supervisor.

Education Complete/Pass a C.A.H.E.A. approved Radiologic Technology program that provides an Associate Degree or a 2 year certificate in radiology Training and Experience Must be ARRT registered or registry eligible. Registry eligible candidates may be conditionally employed as long as the test is taken and passed within one year within first year of employment Must be a MRT in good standing licensed by the Texas Medical Board Must obtain and maintain current American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider Minimum one year of experience Multi-Modality preferred Must obtain and maintain ARRT and MRT registries, to include required CME Health and Background Requirements Employment contingent upon successful completion of: Background Check Lab Work Immunization Records Rarely (Less than ½ hour per day Occasionally (½ to 2 ½ hour per day Frequently (2 ½ to 5 ½ hours per day Continually (5 ½ to 8 hours per day Not Applicable Physical Sitting – Occasionally Stationary Standing – Occasionally Walking – Frequently Ability to be mobile – Continually Crouching (bend at knees) –Occasionally Kneeling/Crawling –Rarely Stooping (bend at waist) –Occasionally Twisting (knees, waist, neck) – Rarely Turn/Pivot –Occasionally Climbing – Not Applicable Balancing –Rarely Reaching overhead –Frequently Reaching extension –Rarely Pushing/Pulling – Frequently Lifting/Carrying – (Maximum weight: 50 lbs.)
