You're an experienced Site Supervisor who enjoys being out on site, leading teams and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently and to a high standard. You take pride in keeping projects on track, supporting operational teams and solving problems before they become issues., We're looking for a Site Supervisor to join our Landscaping, Design and Energy division at Ground Control. Working closely with the Site Manager, you'll be supervising our Public EV Charge Point installations along highways.
You'll play a key role in the day-to-day supervision of site activities, helping ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to the quality standards our clients expect. Oversee daily site operations, ensuring work is delivered in line with project plans, specifications and deadlines. Support the Site Manager with the coordination of labour, materials and equipment. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and identify potential risks, issues or delays. Provide daily briefings and allocate tasks to field teams and subcontractors. Monitor team performance, providing guidance and support to achieve expected standards.
Ensure site teams understand their responsibilities and remain accountable for deliverables and deadlines. Verify that all required site documentation, including RAMS and permits, is in place before work commences. Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental and quality standards. Report hazards, near misses and best practices through systems such as Safety Culture.
Support quality assurance activities through inspections, audits and checks on completed work. Escalate site issues, quality concerns and operational challenges where appropriate. Act as a key communication link between site teams and the Site Manager. Provide accurate updates on project progress, site performance and client interactions. Make informed day-to-day operational decisions and escalate more significant issues when required.
Maintain accurate records using systems including Microsoft Office, Skillco and Safety Culture. Highway/street works experience, ideally on live public highways. NRSWA Supervisor qualification. SSSTS or SMSTS qualification. Traffic management experience and understanding of highway site set-ups. Underground services experience, including CAT & Genny and service avoidance. Excavation, ducting, bases, backfill and reinstatement experience.
