Position Overview We are seeking a board-certified Sleep Medicine Physician to join our established clinical practice in Greensboro, North Carolina. This is an excellent opportunity to build a high-volume sleep medicine practice with strong operational support, clinical autonomy, and a healthy work-life balance. About the Practice Our clinic specializes in comprehensive sleep disorder management with a modern infrastructure designed for efficiency.

We operate in-house sleep studies and partner with established providers to offer a complete continuum of care. The practice is supported by a skilled APP (Advanced Practice Provider) team to streamline patient management and optimize physician productivity. Position Details Clinical Responsibilities Patient Volume: 16–18 patients per day Study Review: Read and interpret all sleep studies Case Management: Oversee complex cases and clinical decision-making Scope: Work closely with APP team on diagnostic and management protocols APP handles routine intake assessments, CPAP compliance monitoring, and straightforward management cases Physician directs complex cases and provides oversight of all diagnostic studies Schedule Clinical Hours: 32 hours per week Administrative Hours: 8 hours per week On-Call: Shared with APP (1 in 3 weekends) Minimal on-call volume, primarily equipment troubleshooting No inpatient hospital follow-up responsibilities Infrastructure & Support Modern clinic (Murphy beds for testing) In-home sleep studies managed by practice Outside partner support for additional sleep testing Integrated EHR and administrative support team APP team handles initial intakes and routine management Qualifications Required MD or DO with Internal Medicine or Family Medicine background Completed Sleep Medicine fellowship training Board certification in Sleep Medicine Active medical license in North Carolina (or ability to obtain) Strong diagnostic and clinical management skills Excellent communication and team collaboration abilities Preferred Prior experience in high-volume sleep medicine practice Familiarity with in-office sleep study protocols Experience leading multi-disciplinary clinical teams Not open to: Pulmonology or Neurology background Visa sponsorship Compensation & Benefits Salary: $250,000–$300,000 (first-year range) Comprehensive benefits package including: Health insurance Retirement plan options CME allowance Professional liability coverage Additional benefits to be discussed Start Date Ideal start date is as soon as possible.
