Job Description Location: Floor 5, SLLC Headquarters, Almada Street, Hamilton No of Posts: 1 Hours: 35 per week Work Pattern: Monday to Thursday 8:45am - 4:45pm (1 hour unpaid break), Fri 8:45am - 4:15pm (30 mins unpaid break) Salary/Hourly Rate: £37,702 - £38,779 Duration: Permanent Job Profile: Click here to view South Lanarkshire Leisure and Culture (SLLC) is seeking a highly organised and professional CEO Secretary to provide vital secretarial and administrative support to the Chief Executive and Heads of Service.
This is a key role within our Leadership Team Support Service, requiring discretion, initiative, and excellent communication skills. Key Responsibilities: Manage diaries, meetings, travel, and hospitality arrangements for senior leaders. Prepare and circulate reports, correspondence, and documentation. Liaise with elected members, board members, council departments, and external agencies. Maintain confidential records and databases.
Supervise other secretarial staff and delegate tasks effectively. About You: We're looking for someone who: Is proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams). Has experience in minute taking, diary management, and supporting virtual/in-person meetings. Demonstrates excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. Can manage competing priorities and maintain confidentiality.
Is flexible, resilient, and confident under pressure. Has strong interpersonal and communication skills. A relevant qualification (e.g., HNC/HND in Business Administration) and knowledge of SLLC's governance structure are desirable. Hybrid Working: This post operates on a hybrid working basis, combining office-based and home working. The successful candidate will be expected to attend the office on designated days, with the flexibility to work remotely for the remainder of the week.
