We currently have the following opportunity: Social Work Assistant - PKC14201 £34,424 - £37,784 Integrated Drug Alcohol and Recovery Team (IDart), Drumhar Health Centre, Perth This is an exciting opportunity to join the Integrated Drug Alcohol and Recovery Team IDart as a Social Work Assistant.

You will be case responsible and support individuals and their families through recovery. You will have knowledge of working with people who have substance use issues and be involved in supporting communities to make a difference. IDART are based on the grounds of the Murray Royal Hospital and this has helped to strengthen our work with colleagues from mental health services. We would really like to hear from people who are interested in working in an exciting fast paced environment.

Please note, we are currently unable to offer sponsorship for this post. Skills & Experience Required Up to date knowledge of issues facing people who use substances. Up to date knowledge of current Scottish polices on tackling the effects of drug and alcohol use. Good Team working skills. Ability to think outside the box. Honest and compassionate approach to working with individuals and their families.

Preferably hold a SVQ 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent. You must have a valid driving licence as this post requires you to travel to a variety of locations across Perth and Kinross.
