Software Engineering Intern - 989 We are seeking a Software Engineering Intern in our Broomfield, CO Location. Key Responsibilities: This internship role will be with the team that’s focusing on lab control software and/or real-time embedded software Software design and coding Unit testing and integration with CI/CD toolchains Work with software leads to define and execute core project Help with other development tasks as interested YOU MUST HAVE: Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD Graduating after December 2027 Due to Contractual requirements, must be a U.S.

WE VALUE: Experience integrating a diverse set of components, including hardware and software, particularly in engineering laboratory environments.
Experience developing software interfacing with engineering laboratory equipment, including sensors and controllers. Interest in working on compilers and associated technologies such as LLVM Experience with Docker or similar tooling Fluency in Python, C/C++ Software development skills in Linux development environments Familiarity with software configuration, delivery, and deployment tools like Git, Jenkins, and Docker Enthusiastic support of deployed software: debugging, profiling, responding to user feedback, etc.
Experience with relational or key/value database systems Interest in compiler tools, quantum circuits, circuit optimization, and quantum algorithms Enthusiasm for problem solving in a fast-paced environment Strong written and verbal communication skills Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Quantum Information Science, or a related technical field, and a strong record of academic achievement Compensation & Benefits: The pay range for this role is $27 - $39 per hour.
