Solution Architect (IAM) (Edgewing)

Job Title: Solution Architect (IAM) (Edgewing) Location: Reading area. The role could be contracted to any BAE Systems site (preferably Frimley) but on commencement will immediately be assigned to our Edgewing JV in the Reading area. A financial support package may be available to enable this assignment if required, dependent on certain criteria being met. Due to the nature of this assignment, we envisage there will be a need for mostly on site working, however, flexible working arrangements may be possible please speak to your recruiter about the options for this role.

Job Description: As a Solution Architect (IAM), youll be responsible for defining and evolving Identity and Access Management solutions that support the organisations security, compliance and operational requirements. Working closely with Product Owners, Cyber Security specialists, Enterprise Architects and delivery teams, youll ensure IAM solutions are secure, scalable and aligned to business objectives.

Youll provide architectural leadership across authentication, authorisation, identity governance and access management, helping to protect business-critical systems while supporting the organisations wider security strategy. Core duties: Design and evolve Identity and Access Management solutions that align with business objectives and technology strategies Define and maintain IAM policies, standards and architectural principles to support secure and consistent access management Ensure IAM solutions are effectively integrated with enterprise applications, APIs, platforms and third-party services Support the implementation of authentication, authorisation, identity governance and access control capabilities Provide architectural guidance to engineering and operations teams throughout design, build and deployment activities Work closely with Product Owners, Cyber Security specialists and Enterprise Architects to ensure IAM solutions meet functional and non-functional requirements Essential Skills: Experience in Solution Architecture, Identity and Access Management or Cyber Security environments Experience designing, implementing and evolving enterprise-scale Identity and Access Management solutions Knowledge of Zero Trust Architecture principles, encryption, digital certificates and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) Experience implementing Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and Single Sign-On (SSO) solutions Experience with directory services such as Active Directory, Azure AD and LDAP, including integration with IAM platforms The Edgewing Team: By joining Edgewing, you will have a unique opportunity to help shape the company from the ground up setting the foundations for generations to come, influencing how we work, and helping us build something world-class together.
