Role Purpose The Spa Manager is responsible for the overall management and performance of the hotel spa, ensuring an exceptional guest experience while delivering strong commercial, operational and team performance. The role will lead the spa team, maintain high standards and ensure the spa operates in line with the hotel’s brand and service standards. Key Responsibilities Lead and develop the spa team , including recruitment, training, performance management, scheduling and creating a positive, service-focused culture.
Deliver an exceptional guest experience , ensuring consistently high standards across treatments, facilities, customer service and overall spa presentation. Manage the commercial performance of the spa , including revenue, budgets, costs, retail sales, memberships, promotions and identifying opportunities to increase profitability. Oversee day-to-day operations , ensuring effective staffing, stock control, health & safety, cleanliness, treatment standards and compliance with hotel policies and relevant regulations.
Drive the growth and reputation of the spa , working closely with the hotel’s wider management, sales and marketing teams to develop promotions, packages, partnerships and initiatives that increase occupancy and guest engagement. Key Skills & Experience: Previous experience managing a spa, hotel spa or similar luxury wellness operation. Strong leadership and team-development skills. Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
Commercially aware with experience managing budgets and revenue targets. Knowledge of spa treatments, retail, health & safety and operational standards. #BROAD1CH
