We are recruiting to fill the position below: Job Title: Spare Parts Officer Location: Ikeja, Allen, Lagos Employment Type: Full-time Role Overview The Spare Parts Officer is responsible for managing the availability, storage, issuance, and proper documentation of spare parts and technical components.

The role ensures that spare parts are accurately recorded, properly stored, readily available for repairs and maintenance, and efficiently controlled to minimize stock losses and downtime. Key Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and record incoming spare parts and accessories. Maintain accurate records of spare parts received, issued, returned, and transferred. Monitor stock levels and initiate replenishment requests when items reach minimum stock levels.

Issue spare parts to technicians and service personnel based on approved requests. Ensure proper identification, labeling, storage, and organization of spare parts. Conduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile physical quantities with system records. Investigate and report discrepancies, damages, shortages, or obsolete parts. Maintain proper documentation for all spare parts transactions. Liaise with Procurement, Warehouse, Finance, and Technical teams to ensure timely availability of required parts.

Monitor fast-moving, slow-moving, and obsolete spare parts. Ensure spare parts are stored under appropriate conditions to prevent damage or deterioration. Assist in preparing periodic inventory and stock movement reports. Ensure compliance with company policies and inventory control procedures. Support the service team by ensuring critical spare parts are available when required. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized spare parts store.

Key Requirements HND / B.Sc. in Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, and a minimum of 3 years of experience in spare parts, inventory, warehouse, or stock management. Good knowledge of inventory control and stock management procedures. Ability to use ERP/inventory management systems and Microsoft Excel. Strong attention to detail and record-keeping skills.

Good communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to identify different spare parts and understand basic technical specifications. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and effectively under pressure. A female candidate is preferred. Application Closing Date 25th September, 2026.
