Special Education Teacher for a 36-week contract in Nantucket, Massachusetts, earning up to $58 per hour. The role focuses on providing specialized instruction to students with severe disabilities and developing individualized education plans. You'll collaborate with paras and educators to support student success and maintain compliance. Key Responsibilities: Provide specialized instruction to students with severe disabilities in a school setting.

Assess student needs and develop individualized education plans (IEPs). Implement evidence-based teaching strategies, including ABA techniques and data collection. Collaborate with a team of paras and other educators to support student success. Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with school policies and regulations. Qualifications: MA special education teacher license MA licensure for Students with Severe Disabilities (PreK-2) or a comparable license 1 year of experience with significant populations, familiarity with ABA and data collection Previous experience working with students with severe disabilities School year starts August 28 Comfortable working day shifts Includes 9 students, 2 paras, 37.5 hours per week schedule Benefits: Weekly direct deposit (with next-day pay features coming soon!) at rates 13% above market average.
