What you will achieve: Verification and clarification of benefit entitlement according to insurance regulations in the field of pet insurance (illness, accident, preventive care) Review and billing of complex and demanding veterinary invoices (2nd level) and, if necessary, objections to invoices Assessment of the medical necessity of treatments and procedures Close collaboration with veterinarians, animal clinics and other service providers to clarify medical issues Responding to questions from insured persons, service providers and authorities by phone and email – friendly and understandable, even in complex matters Review and solution-oriented processing of requests for cost approval as well as complaints Preparation of correspondence, processing of insured and contract data and ensuring further administrative tasks Why you will succeed: Ideally, you have a completed degree in veterinary medicine, e.g.
as a veterinarian or Dr. med. vet. Alternatively, you have training in the veterinary field, e.g. as a veterinary practice assistant EFZ, or medical or commercial training with verifiable veterinary knowledge You already have experience in claims processing in the insurance sector – ideally with a focus on pet insurance You convince with your efficient, service-oriented and always independent way of working Your communication skills on the phone and by email as well as your friendly, professional manner complete your profile You keep an overview and remain calm even in demanding situations.
