An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Specialty Doctor to join Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will join a team of 3 Consultants supported by Specialist Doctors, and Specialist Nursing Team. The successful applicant will work in the paediatric department and will participate in the on-call rota, which is in hours, Monday-Friday to complete Child Protection Medicals.
The Trust would welcome discussion with individuals looking for a more flexible working pattern and hours, to support a different work life balance. Applicants must have full registration with the GMC including a License to Practice., Through personal development in agreement with relevant clinicians and identification of service needs the post holder will: This post will be within the middle grade tier working at Middle Grade level.
The Community Paediatric Department offers services in: Child Protection Adoption and Fostering for the Local Authority School Health Services, giving advice to the Local Authority regarding children with Special Educational Needs ADHD and Autis Neurodisability Health Promotion The successful candidate will undertake: Outpatient clinics alongside consultants Safeguarding; assessment and management of children referred for safeguarding.
Participate in the on-call in hours rota. The candidate will employing the necessary clinical decision skills to formulate appropriate management plans for the patients under their care. In addition, the appointee will cover the on-call in hours rota. Mid Cheshire Hospitals provides comprehensive hospital and community services for Cheshire and Chester. Our services include planned and unplanned/emergency care, cardiac and critical care, child health, maternity, and intermediate care.Through our community arm, Central Cheshire Integrated Care Partnership, we deliver extensive services in collaboration with Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS FT and the South Cheshire and Vale Royal GP Alliance.
