The CMU Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders offers undergraduate and graduate degrees and is housed within The Herbert H. and Grace A. Dow College of Health Professions. Required Qualifications: Earned terminal doctorate degree is required; ABD will be considered if it is clear the degree will be completed by start of appointment.

CCC - SLP is required. Licensed as an SLP in Michigan or eligible for MI licensure. Expertise in one or more of the following areas: dysphagia, motor speech, voice, cognition, medical speech-language pathology, or other related research areas. Effective oral/written communication skills. Demonstrated research agenda based on published works and/or external funding or potential for success. Ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications: Clinical supervision experience. Experience teaching at the university level. Experience or demonstrated interest in securing extramural grants and contracts. Evidence of involvement with professional associations and organizations.
