Beacon Hill is hiring a Staff Accountant for a growing organization seeking a detail-oriented accounting professional to join its finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a hands-on role, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is looking to expand their accounting expertise while supporting key financial operations.ResponsibilitiesAssist with the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes, including journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and financial analysis.Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, identifying and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.Support cash management activities, banking transactions, and balance sheet reconciliations.Prepare financial reports, schedules, and supporting documentation for internal stakeholders and external auditors.Partner with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and compliance with company policies.Research accounting issues, analyze variances, and recommend solutions to improve accuracy and efficiency.Contribute to process improvement initiatives and help strengthen internal controls.Provide backup support to members of the accounting team and assist with special projects as needed.QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.1+ years of accounting experience; experience within financial services, banking, or a corporate accounting environment is a plus.Strong understanding of GAAP and fundamental accounting principles.Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to analyze and manipulate large data sets.Experience working with ERP systems such as NetSuite, PeopleSoft, SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms preferred.Exposure to reporting or data automation tools such as Power Query, Alteryx, or Python is a plus.Beacon Hill is an equal opportunity employer and individuals with disabilities and/or protected veterans are encouraged to apply.California residents: Qualified applications with arrest or conviction records will be considered for employment in accordance with the Los Angeles County Fair Chance Ordinance for Employers and the California Fair Chance Act.If you would like to complete our voluntary self-identification form, please click here or copy and paste the following link into an open window in your browser: https://jobs.beaconhillstaffing.com/eeoc/Completion of this form is voluntary and will not affect your opportunity for employment, or the terms or conditions of your employment.
